Dear guests, dear friends of Hotel Sonne – we can hardly believe it, but 2025 is now behind us. And what can we say? It was a year that leaves us speechless. Speechless with gratitude, joy, and pride for everything we were able to experience together. That’s why we want to take this special moment to pause and say thank you.

Without you, Hotel Sonne would not be what it is today. You fill our rooms not only with life, but also with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Whether at breakfast, enjoying yourselves in the hotel bar, or spending a delightful evening in the Sunna restaurant, you make every day special.
In 2025, we were delighted to see so many familiar faces again and make new friends at the same time. Some of you have been coming for years, others visited us for the first time. You all have one thing in common: you are the reason why we give our best every day.
From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for trusting us. Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. Thank you for being part of the Sonne family.

Behind every perfectly made bed, behind every lovingly prepared plate, and behind every warm smile at the reception desk is a member of our wonderful team. And it is precisely these people to whom we owe our deepest gratitude today.
Dear colleagues, you are the heart of Hotel Sonne. Your dedication, your passion, and your tireless determination to make every guest happy are priceless. Whether in the kitchen, in service, in housekeeping, at the reception desk, or behind the scenes, each and every one of you contributes to making our guests feel at home.
2025 wasn’t always easy. There were challenging times, long days, and many obstacles. But you never gave up. You stuck together, supported each other, and worked as a real team. We are incredibly proud of that.

What happened in 2025
We have also made some structural changes:
We have renovated our buffet area, making it more spacious, more modern, and with even more attention to detail. A special highlight for our little (and big) gourmets: the new chocolate fountain, which has been a permanent feature of the evening buffet since the renovation. One of our dining rooms has also been renovated and now shines in a new, stylish design, with even more space for moments of enjoyment.
Another milestone: we are delighted to be featured in the Falstaff Hotel Guide 2025. This award is a great honor for us and confirmation of our daily work with heart and quality.

Looking ahead
But enough with the retrospectives, even if they are wonderful. 2026 has only just begun, and we can hardly wait to start a new year full of adventure, moments of enjoyment, and unforgettable experiences together with you.
The mountains are calling, the slopes are perfectly groomed, and we have so much planned for you. New events, culinary highlights at the Sunna gourmet restaurant, and of course plenty of sunny hours await you.
