May we introduce?

Lucas - Chef de Partie
Why Hotel Sonne Ischgl?
He appreciates the family environment here so much – he has known the Sonne since he was little and it was clear to him from an early age that he wanted to work with us as a chef.
What does our boss say about him?
Chef Peter: “I noticed right from the start that Lucas doesn’t see cooking as a job, but as a passion. Every day you notice how much he enjoys coming to work and the words “no” or “I can’t do that” are not in his vocabulary.”
His motto: “You never stop learning!”
Nadja - our receptionist
Why Hotel Sonne Ischgl?
Nadja is very happy to work for her family. “There would be no better bosses for me than my aunt and uncle. They’ve always been by my side since I was born.”
What do her colleagues say about her?
Our Marie: “Since I’ve been working with Nadja, we’ve never stopped having fun at work. We complement each other perfectly in all areas and have been an unbeatable team for 5 years now.”
Her special qualities: open-minded, creative & humorous

Björn - our chef de cuisine
Where does he come from?
Born in Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany, he has already experienced a lot for his young age. From the Kempinski Hotel das Tirol to the Stock Resort in Finkenberg via the Mandarin Oriental in Munich and a few other places, he finally made it to us in the Hotel Sonne in Ischgl.
And when he’s not cooking?
Then he’s on his skis, proving his patience while fishing or playing an exciting match of badminton or table tennis.
His motto: “The greatest thing you can achieve is not to never fall, but to get up again every time.”
His vision: “Our ultimate goal is to make our guests happy and offer them new taste experiences again and again.”
Falstaff - Top employer of the year
In 2023, Falstaff Profi named us Employer of the Year. This shows us that the effort and passion we invest in our staff management on a daily basis is definitely worth it and is also seen as added value by our employees.
